Mental wellness workshops & socials for hotels & luxury residential communities
For hotel resort, and luxury residential building managers who know their guests and residents deserve more
Your guests and residents come to you yearning for a luxury escape. Work is exhausting, coworkers have pushed them to their limits, and romantic partners have a special talent for choosing the worst possible moment to not listen. And sometimes they need a reset. So they book the escape or choose the building with the right amenities — because they crave stress relief and spaces curated with them in mind.
And scenery and convenient amenities help. For a little while.
But on vacations, stress has a way of unpacking itself right alongside the luggage. Anxiety doesn't respect checkout times. And whatever was going on between two people before they arrived has a funny way of still being there over dinner.
In their real life, beautiful living spaces and amenities can work — but not on their own, and not for long. The properties that stand out aren't just the ones that look good. They're the ones that actually send people home feeling different.
So what's the missing piece between a good escape or living environment and a genuinely transformative one?
We are.
Counseling to Comfort brings engaging, enjoyable, yet educational workshop experiences to hotels and residential communities — designed to help people manage stress, improve communication, and strengthen their relationships. Led by a licensed therapist with over 11 years of experience, these aren't lectures or generic talks. They're interactive, customized experiences that leave people feeling joyful, calm, connected, and informed.
Your Property Is The Right Fit If:
As a hospitality and residential manager, you understand that the best amenity you can offer your guests and residents isn't a thing — it’s an experience that stays with people.
If you're a hotel or resort looking to differentiate your guest experience beyond the spa menu, restaurants/bar, and pool, we should talk.
If you're a residential building trying to build a genuine sense of community among residents rather than just a list of amenities on a brochure, we should talk.
If you’re looking for a way to enhance guest and resident retention, we can help with that.

2) Communicate Effectively: Communication Skills Workshops for Groups and Couples
Interactive sessions that help people identify communication pitfalls and enhancements to better articulate and receive what others have to say. Not to mention getting what you want from others.
3) Connect: Relationship and Community Building Socials

What to Expect From a Counseling to Comfort Workshop
Community building and networking experiences that merge game days, curated conversation and activities, and Q & As with a licensed therapist for tips and tricks for navigating negative emotions, and strengthening romantic and other important relationships.Starting with healthy communication. Guests leave feeling more connected, joyful, and able to achieve a sense of calm in their everyday lives. Just enough to hold them over until the next spa day, hotel stay, and luxe experience.
Most wellness offerings at hotels and residential buildings are passive — a massage, a yoga class, a meditation app on the in-room tablet. They're valuable, but they don't create lasting change for people’s personal development or social life, and the people you attract are high-performing, serious about self-development, and very interested in making genuine connections.
We help you enhance their experience by providing an engaging social moment that also offers self-development. With a licensed therapist who has spent over a decade helping people via therapy to work through the exact things your guests and residents are carrying — stress, relationship friction, disconnection. Now, bringing those same skills out of the therapy room. In a format that's engaging, accessible, and genuinely effective.
Your guests and residents deserve more than a temporary escape. They deserve tools to elevate their lived experiences between escapes.

Why Licensed Therapist-Led Workshops Deliver What Spa Programming and Amenities Can't
Meet the Facilitator
Quinelle Hickman, LMFT
FOUNDER
Leading our workshops is Quinelle — a licensed (marriage and family) therapist with over 11 years of clinical experience, over 5,600 sessions in the last 5 years alone, and a facilitation history that includes organizations like Nike, BuzzFeed, the NYS Assembly, and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. What began as private clinical work has expanded into group and organizational settings — bringing the same evidence-based tools that work one-on-one into engaging, accessible experiences designed for groups. With a mission to help people build skills through discussion, practice, and sometimes play. In community with others. Quinelle developed workshops to meet people who desire change but want relatable, practical lessons, exactly where they are.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Workshop Programming
-
We work with hotels, resorts, and luxury residential buildings — any property where guest or resident experience is a priority and where programming is used to differentiate the stay or the living environment. If you're not sure whether your property is a fit, the best next step is a consultation where we can learn more about your space and your people.
-
Spa and wellness amenities give guests and residents a moment of relief — and that moment is real and valuable. But a massage ends at checkout. A yoga class doesn't teach anyone how to have a difficult conversation without shutting down. And a rooftop pool doesn't give two people the tools to actually move through awkward or tense moments.
Our workshops do something different. They're built around the outcomes that stay with people after they leave — managing stress when life gets loud again, communicating more clearly with the people who matter, and feeling genuinely connected to the people around them. The spa takes care of the body. We work on everything that follows people home.

Every workshop is led by Quinelle Hickman, LMFT — a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 11 years of clinical experience and more than 5,600 sessions. This isn't outsourced to a wellness contractor or a certified coach. You're getting a clinician who has spent over a decade helping real people work through stress, relationship friction, and disconnection — now bringing those same evidence-based tools into your property in an engaging, accessible format.
